Florida 2019 | Day 2 | Epcot

Day 2 — our first full day — began with a great character breakfast at Garden Grill in the Land Pavilion at Epcot. Mickey, Pluto, Chip & Dale hosted a great all-you-care-to-eat family style breakfast that consisted of eggs, bacon, potatoes and Mickey waffles! Plus, POG juice mimosas! We loved all the characters, but especially Chip, who gave us a great "dramatic chipmunk" pose. After breakfast, we took a leisurely stroll around Epcot. We rode Living with the Land, since there was no wait. Soarin' was already over an hour wait, so we skipped it. We ride that all the time in DCA, so we didn't feel like we were missing out too much. We then spent some time exploring The Seas with Nemo & Friends. Our favorites were the two manatee. It was getting a bit crowded, and I was starting to feel guilty about leaving Barry alone. Florida 2019 | Day 1 | Travel & Magic Kingdom

Barry on the plane — getting spooked by the water bottle that fell on his butt and knocking over my mimosa. MCO — Minnie Van picking us up at the airport was like our own personal Magical Express! They even let us drop Barry off at Best Friends. Best Friends — a little disappointing that Barry wasn't going to be able to participate in group activities, since he didn't have the required canine flu shot. Oh well, that just meant extra one-on-one time with the workers. Polynesian — check-in was a breeze. Our room was ready and it was perfect. I believe the room number was 3501 — the first room on the 3rd floor. Very conveniently located to the Club Level room for happy hour! After checking in, we hopped on the Monorail and headed to the Magic Kingdom for the After Hours Event. Magic Kingdom — the After Hours Event was PERFECT!
